Johnny Egan

Johnny Egan of Tubrid Hill, Ardfert and Oakpark, Tralee, Co. Kerry, died peacefully in his 100th year (at his daughter Anne & Neilie’s home) on 1st May 2024, son of the late Jack & Kit, beloved husband of the late Lizzie, dearest father of Nuala (Rose), Marie and Anne (Sullivan), brother of the late Pete and also predeceased by the late Jim (Coakley).

Sadly missed by his loving family, his grandson David (his wife Karen and children Jamie & Isobelle), granddaughter Vicky (her husband Steve and children Cormac & Aoife), grandson Paul (his fiancée Stephanie and children Charlie & Georgia) and granddaughter Caoimhe (Rose), sons-in-law Harry and Nealie, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee on Sunday (5th May) from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral arriving to St. Brendan’s Church, Ardfert on Monday morning at 11 am where the Requiem Mass for Johnny will be celebrated at 11.30 am (streamed on www.churchmedia.tv/st-brendans-church-1). Interment afterwards in The Abbey Cemetery, Ardfert.
