HOULIHAN, Derrymihan West, Castletownbere, Beara, Co.Cork on the 22nd April 2024 peacefully at home in the exceptional care of his family, JOSEPH. Predeceased by his parents Daniel and Julia, his siblings John, Donal, Mai, Sheila and Eileen. Deeply mourned by his loving nieces, nephews, close neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Joe’s family would like to thank his Home Care Team, Dr.Fiona Kelly, Crosse’s Pharmacy and the Palliative Care Team. A special thanks to Joe’s neighbours and friends who called to him and took great care of him over the years, especially Cait and the Donegan families.

Reposing in Harringtons Funeral Home, Castletownbere on Tuesday (23rd) from 5pm to 7pm followed by the rosary. Requiem mass will take place in The Church of The Sacred Heart, Castletownbere at 11am on Wednesday (24th) followed by burial in St.Mary’s Cemetery in Droum. Link to view funeral mass below. Funeral cortège will leave the funeral home at approximately 10.30am. Family flowers only by request, donations, if desired, to West Cork Palliative Care.
