The death has occurred of
Joseph (Joe) Hegarty
On October 6th 2023, peacefully in his 86th year, at his home surrounded by his loving family, JOE, beloved husband of Agnes (née McCarthy), dearest dad of Cecelia, Tadhg, Evelyn and Anne, brother of Philomena and the late Rena and Kevin, father-in-law of Gerry, Mary, Brian and Stephen, dear granddad of Adam, Jason, Róisín, Colm, Seán, Chloe, Andrew and Harry. Sadly missed by his loving family, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at his home on Tuesday Oct. 10th from 4pm to 8pm with vigil prayers at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday Oct. 11th at 2pm at Star of the Sea Church Kilcrohane (to view live stream click here) followed by burial in Kilcrohane Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to Cancer Connect, Barrack Street, Bantry.
