Lohan Ballindrimley, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Aughrim, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. February 14, 2023 (peacefully) at Roscommon University Hospital. Predeceased by his first wife Phyllis and their daughter Caroline, son John Oliver, his parents and his brothers Brendan and PJ. Joseph (Joe), loving husband of Ann and father to Maria (Macken, Wexford), Lorraine (Byrne, Athleague), Breda (Hanley, Ballymoe), Aideen (Bowstead, Australia), Joseph (England) and David (Wexford). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, his daughters, sons, and his grandchildren; Kevin, Edward, Declan, Saoirse, Joseph and Nicolay, his brother Gus (Shannon), sons-in- law Eddie, Thomas, Kieran and David, daughter-in-law Alexandra and Joseph’s partner Linda, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea on Wednesday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock followed by removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11 o’clock with burial afterwards in Ballygar Cemetery, Galway.
