Josephine (Josie) Ballantine
(née Mc Govern)
Ballantine - née Mc Govern, Ardkeerin, Riverstown, Co. Sligo, peacefully at her home, July 5th 2024, Josephine (Josie). Predeceased by her husband Batty, her sisters Maggie, Mary and Rosie, brothers Jim and Luke. Sadly missed by her sons Bart, Gerry, Tony and Ronan, daughters Geraldine, Attracta (Gallagher) and Patricia, daughters-in-law Siobhán, Rachael and Breege, son-in-law Thomas and Terry, grandchildren, sister Phyllis (Leyden), nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at her daughter Geraldine’s residence (F52 X922) on Sunday, July 7th, from 2pm to 9pm. Removal on Monday, July 8th, to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Riverstown for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Ballyrush Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society.
