The death has occurred of Josie Phelan, née Lanigan) Tinniscully, The Rower, Co.Kilkenny.

Josie passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 24th, surrounded by her loving family in University Hospital Waterford.

Joise is predeceased by her loving parents, Edward & Johanna Lanigan (Ballalog), her husband George Phelan, sister Mai Southey, and her son Edward (who died in infancy).

Josie will be sadly missed by her loving family, daughters Joanne and Myra, sons Patrick, Sean, Eamon and George, her brother Eddie, sister-in-law Helen, daughters-in-law, Jane and Sarah, son-in-law, Paud, grandchildren Bill, Siobhan, Marie, Judith, Cathal, Niall, Alannah, Sarah, Maiyah, Rian, Ada, Cuan, Chole and George, many nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Doyle's Funeral Home The Old Rectory, Rosbercon, New Ross on Friday 25th October from 4pm concluding at 8pm, pausing for prayers at 6pm.

Funeral to arrive at The Church of The Assumption, The Rower for 11am Requiem Mass on Saturday 26th October, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
