Julia (Sheila) Byrne (née Connors), Ricketstown, Rathvilly, Co. Carlow – 11th October 2024 peacefully at Oak Lodge Nursing Home, Cloyne, Co. Cork in her 93rd year; predeceased by her loving husband Michael. Sadly missed by her loving daughter Norah, son-in-law Diarmuid, adored grandchildren Michael, Max and Noah, sisters-in-law Ann and Kathleen, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Halligan’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Rathvilly (Eircode R93 C560) this Sunday, 13th October from 5pm concluding at 7pm. Funeral arriving to St. Patrick’s Church, Rathvilly on Monday morning for 11am Requiem Mass after which she will be laid to rest in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Rathvilly.
