Kathleen Begley
(née Brosnan)

Kathleen passed away peacefully while in the presence of her family on June 16th 2021 in the exceptional and compassionate care of the staff at Haven Bay Care Centre Kinsale, aged 91 years. Predeceased by husband Jimmy. Sadly missed by her son James (Ennis), daughters Phil (Paris), Catherine and Anne (Cork), daughters in law Maggie, Isabelle, and Nancy, son in law Daniel, adored grandchildren Clara, Sinead, Orla, and Eoin, sister Bridie (London), nieces and nephews and her many friends.

Reposing at O'Connor’s Funeral Home, Dingle on Thursday, 17th June 2021, from 5pm to 6.30pm. (family and close friends). Requiem Mass at The Church of The Sacred Heart, Annascaul at 11am on Friday, 18th June 2021, and afterwards Kathleen will be laid to rest in Ballinclare burial ground.

Kathleen lived for her family. She was at her happiest when surrounded by family members. She never forgot a special occasion or a birthday. She gave so much of herself to everyone she loved and will always be remembered for her gentle nature, and generosity of spirit. Heaven has just become a more beautifully adorned place filled with her warmth and kindness.
