KATHLEEN DONOVAN
(née O'Gorman)

Donovan On September 6th 2024 at Cork University Hospital, Kathleen (May / Kay) (née O'Gorman), beloved wife of Bartholomew, beloved mother of Catherine, daughter of the late Catherine and Jeremiah and dear sister of the late Richard. She will leave an enormous void and be truly missed by her family, including her niece Wendy, nephew, grandniece, grandnephew, great-grandniece, cousins, in-laws, neighbours, carers and by her many lifelong friends amongst them Christine, Breda and Sr. Annunciata. In the words she picked out for her own mother, "death is not extinguishing the light, it is putting out the light because the dawn has come".

Rest in peace

Reposing in Sullivan's Funeral Home, Turners Cross on Saturday 7th from 4.00pm until 5.00pm. Requiem Mass on Monday 9th at 10.30am in the Church of the Assumption, Ballyphehane followed by burial at St. Oliver's Cemetery, Model Farm Road.
