HEFFERNAN (née Breen) (Dun Laoghaire and formerly of Glasthule, Co. Dublin) – July 25th 2024 (peacefully) surrounded by her family and in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Kathleen (Kay); dearly beloved wife and best friend of 61 years to Joe, much loved and devoted mother of Michelle, Peter and Joseph. Sadly missed by her loving husband, daughter, son, daughters-in-law Dianah and Eileen, son-in-law Dermot, grandchildren Joseph, Chloe and David, her sister Mary, brothers Noel, Philip and Larry, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 PW73 on Sunday (July 28th) from 2pm to 4pm with a gathering of family and friends for 3.45pm Prayer Service. Removal on Monday (July 29th) to St. Patrick’s Church, Monkstown arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill.
