On 13 September 2024, Kathleen slipped away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff at The Galway Hospice.
Pre-deceased by her brother Jim and sisters Mary and Anne.
Loved and dearly missed by her heartbroken family; her adoring husband Michael who she cared so deeply for, sons Declan, Diarmuid and Fergus, daughters Emer and Catherine, sons-in-law Dave and John, daughters-in-law Caroline, Tara and Eva.
She will be forever remembered by her adored grandchildren; Oisín, Ruari, Fiona, Lukas, Éadaoin and Róisín who she was devoted to. Cherished and very sadly missed by her sister Mairéad (Indianapolis, USA), her wonderful and supportive nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended Maher and Moore families, kind neighbours and special friends.
Kathleen will repose in Áras Naofa, adjacent to the St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Renmore, Galway (H91 PX95) on Tuesday 17 September 2024 from 5 pm. – 6:30 pm. Removal after to the Church. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Kathleen on Wednesday 18 September 2024 at 11 am. Following Mass, she will be laid to rest, overlooking Galway Bay, in Renville Cemetery.
