Kathleen MURPHY

Kathleen Murphy of 71 Fr Murphy’s Terrace, Tullow, Co Carlow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on February 8th, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.

Much loved mother of Paul and Michael, adored grandmother of Zoey, Lorraine and Chelsea, beloved partner of Denis, cherished sister of Clare, Michael, Esther, Jean, Lily, Tessie, and the late Paugie, Tom, Mamie, Pat and Helen and cherished daughter of the late Mick and Kate.

She will be sadly missed by her loving sons, grandchildren, partner daughter-in-law Trish, brother, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May Kathleen’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq, Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) on Sunday, February 11th, from 4pm, concluding with Prayers at 8pm that evening. Removal on Monday at 9.45am to The Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.

It is Kathleen’s wishes that her funeral will be joyous celebration of her life, so it is not necessary to wear black to her wake and Funeral Mass.
