(née Morrissey)

Kathleen Shanahan (nee Morrissey) Riverside Drive, Castleisland, Co. Kerry and formerly of Cecil Street, Limerick. Peacefully, on January 14th 2023, in her 90th year, in the presence of her loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff at Willow Brooke Care Centre, Castleisland. Predeceased by her husband Richard (Dick) The Medical Hall, Castleisland and her brother Jimmy (Clonredden, Co. Clare). Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving  family, Jack, Deirdre, Liz, Catherine, Anne Marie, Anya (Peter) and Frances, sons-in-law Tim, Dave and Nicky, daughter-in-law Eliza, her adored thirteen grandchildren, Billy, Robert, Jayne, David, Aoife, Dervela, Blaithín, Aaron, Olivia, Molly, Conor, Nathan and Mia, her brother Donal (Manchester), her sister Sr. Mary Teresa (Convent of Mercy, Kinsale) brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Tangney's Funeral Home, Church Street, Castleisland, on Monday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Removal from her residence on Tuesday morning at 10.30am, arriving to Castleisland Parish Church for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Main Street, Castleisland. The Mass will be livestreamed on www.churchservices.tv/castleisland. Family flowers only, please.
