Ken SMOLLEN

Late of Daingean Road, Tullamore. Retired Garda (Portlaoise), former Offaly County Councillor and CEO of the K.S. food appeal. Passed away peacefully on the 12th of July in the care of the Brosna Ward at the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore, surrounded by his loving family. Pre deceased by his daughters Anne Marie and Kate. He will be deeply missed by his wife Sandy, daughters Keira and Leonie, his grandchildren Greg Jnr, Ross, Ben, Finn, Mia and Fay, Leonie's husband Greg, Keira's partner Séan, brother Dermot, sisters Karen, Valerie and Laura, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family and friends.

Reposing at O'Reilly's Funeral Home, Harbour Street, Tullamore (R35 FC84) on Saturday from 4pm until 7pm with Rosary at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 10am in the Church of The Assumption, Tullamore, followed by Burial after Mass in the Monastery Cemetery, Clara.
