Kieran Walsh

The death has occurred of Kieran Walsh, retired publican, Cree Village, Kilrush, Co. Clare, in his 94th year. Kieran passed away peacefully on the 3rd of January 2024 in the loving care of the nurses and staff of St. Theresa's Nursing Home, Kilrush. He is predeceased by his parents Susan and Ned, his brothers Martin, James & Josie and his sister Mary (Mc Mahon). He will be lovingly missed by his nieces Colette and Anne & his nephews Martin and Eamon. Sadly missed by Finbarr, Roisin and Nicola. Also bereaved by his nieces in law Fiona and Carmen & nephew in law Tom, grand nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing in St. Mary's Church, Cree on Friday, January 5th, from 6.00pm with prayers at 7.30pm. Funeral mass at 11.00am on Saturday, January 6th, followed by burial afterwards in Leitrim Cemetery. Kieran's mass can be viewed on the Cooraclare- Cree parish Facebook page.
