The death has occurred of Lavinia (Lana) Whelan, née Stafford, Drumbracken, Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully at the Louth Hospital, 3rd February, 2024.

Lana is pre-deceased by her parents Dolly and Fred. Deeply regretted by her husband Tom, daughters Sandra & Karen, sons Paul and Mark. Sadly missed by her brothers Billy and Trevor, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Lana will repose at Kieran Bros. Funeral Home, Kingscourt, (A82R3W2) on Tuesday, 6th February, from 4pm to 7pm.

Funeral service on Wednesday, 7th February, in St. Ernan's Church, Kingscourt, at 2pm with burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt.
