LENA FETHERSTONE (née Sharkey) Correal, Stonepark, Roscommon Town and formerly of Elphin, Co Roscommon. December 3rd, 2024; (Unexpectedly but peacefully); at her home, in her 93rd year, surrounded by her loving family. Devoted and loving wife of the late Jimmy. She will be forever remembered by her much loved family Seamus, P.J., Marie Saunders (Scramogue), Virginia (Knappogue, Clondra), David, Noel and Derek, her 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law Trudie, Tina, Angela and Sharron, son-in-law John, Virginia’s partner Liam, sisters Maura (England), Evelyn (Cloontuskert) and Nance (Elphin), sister-in-law Chrissie (England), nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Lena is also predeceased by her parents James and Mary Kate, sisters Bridie and Tess and brothers Seamus and Micheál.

May Lena rest in peace.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Thursday evening from 6 o’c until 8 o’c. Removal from her home on Friday morning at 10.30 o’c arriving to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery.
