Leonora Scanlon
(née Doyle)

Leonora Scanlon nee Doyle of Clogher, Ballymacelligott, Tralee and formerly Tullig, Beaufort, Co. Kerry, died peacefully on 29th February 2024, beloved wife of Patrick, dearest mother of Helen, Margaret, Mary & Andrew and sister of Frank, Ann, Eileen and the late James, Michael & Betty.

Sadly missed by her loving family, her grandchildren Shauna, Jack, Luke, Bernice, Lisa, Gerard, Catelyn, Dylan & Ryan, great grandchildren Fionn & Rayna, sons-in-law Michael, Paul & David, daughter-in-law Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee on Friday (1st March) from 6 to 7.30 pm. Funeral arriving to St. Brendan’s Church, Clogher on Saturday morning where the Requiem Mass for Leonora will be celebrated at 11 am (streamed on Ballymacelligott Community Alert Facebook Page). Interment afterwards in Clogher cemetery.

Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to The Palliative Care Unit, U.H.K. (via “Donation” link below – Kerry Hospice Foundation), or care of the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee.
