Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Portiuncula Hospital. Retired psychiatric nurse at St Brigid's Hospital, Ballinasloe and St Patrick's Hospital, Castlerea. Pre-deceased by his brother John (Sligo), brothers-in-law Joe Gardiner and Ron Beales. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary, much loved by his children Liam, Oliver, Michael, Declan, Alan and Emer Young; his sisters Mary Scott, Joan Gardiner and Nuala Beales; daughters-in-law Teija, Celine, Katie, Aishling and Sandra, son-in-law Brad; his grandchildren Luke, Marc, Louise, Billy, Thea, Arran, Alannah, Amelie, Rián, Teddy and Elsie; brothers-in-law Martin Scott and Eamon Doyle; his nephews, nieces, neighbours and many friends in the Credit Union movement.

Reposing in Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15) on Monday, the 13th of January, from 5pm to 8pm. Private Removal on Tuesday to Our Lady Of Lourdes Church, Creagh, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Creagh Cemetery. Family flowers only, by request.
