In Loving Memory of Liana: A Tribute

 

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Liana on August 25th, at the tender age of 7. Liana, beloved daughter of Liju and Jincy and cherished sister of Evana, left a profound impact on those around her. Though her time with us was far too short, her impact and the joy she brought into our lives will forever remain imprinted on our hearts.

We wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Ebenezer Worship Centre, Cork which has been a cornerstone of support and solace of our family during these trying times. Your prayers,kindness and unwavering presence provided us with comfort and strength beyond measure.

We would also like to acknowledge the exceptional care provided by the consultants and medical teams at Crumlin and Temple Street Hospitals, the consultants and radiation team at St. Luke's Hospital, the pediatric oncology team, the dedicated nurses, the ICU colleagues at Cork University Hospital, the community healthcare team, and the Marymount hospice team. Your expertise, compassion, and dedication to Liana's well-being will forever be etched in our hearts.

 

To the staff of Douglas Public Health Centre, Ronal McDonald Housing in Dublin, Ireland's Children's Hospice, and all the wonderful community groups who rallied around Liana throughout her 11-month journey, we extend our heartfelt appreciation.

 

We are grateful to the Irish Cancer Society, Make-A-Wish, and all the charity campaigns that worked tirelessly to create lasting memories for Liana and our family.

 

To St. Columban's School in Douglas and Spioraid Niaomh Girls School in Bishopstown, thank you for embracing Liana with open arms and creating an inclusive and nurturing environment for her.

 

To all the other community groups especially Clinical Nurse Specialist , friends, and individuals who stood by us, offered support, and shared in our journey, your presence was a source of solace and hope.

 

Liana's memory will forever live on in our hearts, and the love and support we have received from all of you will be cherished forever.
