It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Lynda Higgins Dowling, beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, on the afternoon of the 8th February 2024, surrounded by her loving family and the staff of the ICU unit, Hermitage Clinic, Dublin.

Predeceased by her adored mother Kitty (Cathleen) Higgins (nee Bourke) and Father Jim Higgins.

She will be deeply missed by her loving children, Robert, Heather and Timothy, her Sister Mary, her husband Joseph, her grand daughters April and Mabel, her daughter in law Deirdre and son in law Gordon, her sisters in law and her wide circle of adoring friends, both at home and abroad.

Reposing at her residence at Rosewood Cottage, Ballykeeran, Athlone. (N37 PX51) on Sunday 11th February from 3pm to 6pm, with removal to Ss.Peter & Paul'sChurch, Athlone for mass of the resurrection on Monday 12th February at 11AM. And burial in Drum cemetery thereafter.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lynda may be made to the Irish Cancer society.
