The death has occurred of Majella (Maj) Noone (née Sweeney), Myoran, Leitrim P.O., Carrick-on -Shannon, Co. Roscommon, November 11th 2023. Peacefully, in the presence of her devoted family, amazing and supportive friends and in the dedicated care of the staff at I.C.U. University Hospital Sligo. Maj will be deeply missed by her beloved family, Patrick, cherished and adored son Thady, heartbroken parents Bernie and Francie, sister Frances, father-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters- in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, special cousins, extended families, neighbours, former school friends and work colleagues in Sligo Co. Co.

May her gentle soul rest in peace

Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon, on Tuesday evening (November 14th) from 4.00 p.m. until 8 p.m. Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Drumboylan on Wednesday morning to arrive for celebration of Mass of Christian Burial at 1.30 p.m. Interment afterwards in Kilronan Cemetery.
