Malachy Loughran
Malachy Loughran of Ballymanus Lower, Glenealy, Co. Wicklow, formerly Woodlands Avenue, Cabinteely, Co. Dublin & Drumquin, Co. Tyrone. January 30th 2024, peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, previously in the compassionate care of all the staff in Kilcoole Lodge Nursing Home. Predeceased by his devoted wife of 56 years Breda (née O’Brien) whose 1st anniversary occurred on Sunday, January 28th 2024 & their adored grandson Danny. Remembered with love by his family, daughter Margaret, son John, son-in-law John, daughter-in-law Trish, grandchildren Emma, Laura, Stephi, Isabelle & Mallaidh, brother-in-law Ben, sister-in-law Sheila, extended family & friends.
Malachy’s family would like to thank Clare Keely of Wicklow Primary Care & all the Staff in Kilcoole Lodge Nursing Home for their love & kindness shown to both Malachy & Breda.
Reposing at Mark Kinsella Funeral Home, Main Street, Newtownmountkennedy (opposite St. Joseph’s Church) on Thursday evening (February 1st) from 6pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11am in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Ashford, after which Malachy will be laid to rest in Redford Cemetery, Greystones.
