Margaret Callanan (née Burke), Lavally Connor, Ardrahan, Co. Galway; 10th of December 2024, in her 102nd year.

 

Peacefully in the care of the kind and attentive staff of the Corrib Ward UHG, surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Marty and son-in-law Frank.

 

Dearly loved mother of Marion (Fitzgerald), John, Martin, Teresa (Stankard), Joe and Al.

Margaret will be greatly missed and always remembered by her grandchildren, Aisling, Michael, Evan, Darragh, Shane, Aoife, David, Colin, Michael, Eoin, Cian, Brian, Emma, Jasmine and Aaron; her great-grandchildren Corey, Caelan, Conor, Camryn, Darragh, Saoirse, Daithí, Ada, Tadhg and Callum, son-in-law Peadar, daughters-in-law Mary, Marie, Ruth and Stephanie, extended family as well as her wonderful and cherished neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Monahan's Funeral Home, Labane, Ardrahan (H91 E793), this Friday evening, the 13th of December from 5pm.

Removal at 7pm to St Teresa's Church, Labane. Requiem Mass on Saturday, the 14th of December, at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Labane Cemetery.

 

Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Galway Hospice.
