Margaret Neenan

The death has occurred of Margaret Neenan, River Road, Spiddal, Co Galway. Formerly of Garrafrauns, Dunmore, Co Galway & Stafford, UK. Margaret passed away peacefully after a brave battle in the wonderful care of the staff of Áras Chois Fharraige with her son Pete at her side. Predeceased by her husband Peter Douglas, her beloved daughter Kaye Cosgrove, her sister Jo Begley, brothers Martin, Joe and Michael Neenan.

She will be sadly missed by her son Pete ‘Eddie’ Andow, daughter in law Mary Naughton-Andow, grandchildren John, Steven and Sarah Cosgrove and Amii Andow, great grandchildren Natasha and Ava Rose Cosgrove, her sister Marion and brother Frank Neenan, in-laws, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Reposing on Monday evening 12th February at Naughton’s funeral home, Knock, Inverin (H91 AF40) from 5.30pm with removal at 7pm to Cill Einde church, Spiddal. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon with private cremation at Shannon crematorium to follow.
