MARGARET ‘RITA’ WYNNE (nee MORAN)

Colindale, London and late of Lisgarve, Elphin, Co. Roscommon

Passed away peacefully on 10th August 2023, at University College Hospital London, after a short illness fought with great courage and dignity, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her mother Teresa, father Peter, brother Eamon and father-in-law Eddie.

 

Loving wife of Tommy, devoted mother to Billy, Rebecca and Dylan, and much-loved stepmother of Haley. Beloved sister of Mary (Cummins, Ballinagare), brothers Pat (Irishtown), Tom, Peter and Michael. Rita will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, children, sister, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, mother-in-law Kitty Wynne, aunt Rita Acton, uncle-in-law John McGrath, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours, her wide circle of friends in London and Ireland and of course her cherished dog Prince.

Rita’s memory will forever be treasured, she was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.

London Arrangements:

Vigil Mass on Tuesday 29th August, at 6.30pm at Our Lady of Dolours RC Church, 4 Egerton Gardens, Hendon, NW4 4BA

Elphin Arrangements:

Reposing at Brady’s Funeral Home, Elphin, on Thursday 31st August from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. On Friday morning, 1st September, leaving from the family home in Lisgarve at 11:30am proceeding to The Church of The Holy Trinity, Kilmaryal, F45 NX60, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon.
