Marie Elmes, née Jordan, Ferney Park, Monasterboice and formerly of Skerries and Goatstown, Dublin and Dromore West, Sligo. 16th March 2024. Peacefully after a long illness at Moorehall Lodge, Drogheda surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her brother Farnham. Beloved wife of Martin and loving mother to Ursula, Rory and George. Marie will be sadly missed by her husband, sons and daughter, son-in-law Killian, daughter-in-law Orla, grandchildren Conor, Saidhbhe and Saoirse, brothers Michael and Tommy, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews Niall, Mike and Brian, niece Áine, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda A92 XN75 on Thursday from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday at 12 noon in The Church of The Immaculate Conception, Tenure and can be viewed live at www.churchservices.tv/monasterboice with burial afterwards in Monasterboice Cemetery.
