(née Evans)

Sandyford, Dublin

Fitzsimons (nee Evans) (Sandyford, Dublin and formerly of Newbury, Berkshire) – July 3rd, 2021 (peacefully) at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Marie, loving wife and best friend of Shane, beloved mother of the late Aidan and cherished daughter of Ann and the late Terence. Sadly missed by her loving family, sister Niki, brother Neil, mother-in-law Rose, father-in-law Sean, brother-in-law Keith, sister-in-law Elaine, nephew Jamie, relatives, neighbours, work colleagues and her many, many friends, both here and in England who will remember her dearly.

In line with Government and HSE advice regarding funeral gatherings, a private Funeral Service will take place at 10:30am on Friday morning (July 9th). Live streaming of the Funeral Service can be viewed by clicking on the following link: CLICK HERE TO VIEW SERVICE

 

Marie’s Funeral Cortège is expected to pass her residence on Friday morning at 11:30am. Anyone wishing to line the route are welcome to do so while observing all guidelines relating to social distancing. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral and cannot due to current restrictions may leave a personal message for the family in the section “Condolences” on the bottom of this notice.

Shane, Ann, Niki and Neil would like to take this opportunity to thank most sincerely, the doctors, nurses and staff of both the Renal Unit and the ICU at St. Vincent’s University Hospital for the wonderful compassionate care they gave to Marie and her family during this difficult time.
