Marie Magennis (née Coyle), Dundalk, late of Bruse, Arva, Co. Cavan. 5th February 2025. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marie Magennis following an illness borne with great courage and dignity, a truly wonderful lady whose life was marked by kindness, generosity and a selfless spirit.
Marie was a source of joy to all who knew her, Her unwavering love and compassion touched many friends and family, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Though we mourn the loss of such an extraordinary soul, we take comfort in knowing that she will be reunited with her late husband Eugene Magennis.
She will be sadly missed and forever loved by her adored daughter Megan Rose, brother Michael, sisters, Imelda and Connie (Brady), sister-in-law Breda, and brother-in-law Joe. Also remembered fondly by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
May She Rest in Peace.
Marie will repose at McGeoughs Funeral home, Jocelyn Street, (A91 XW66) from 4pm until 7pm on Friday. Removal on Saturday morning to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Killean Cemetery, Clontigora Road, Co. Down.
