Marie McCarthy (née Clarke), of Shankill and formerly of Sandymount and Glasnevin, Co. Dublin, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and in the wonderful care of the staff of the Oaks Ward at the Royal Hospital Donnybrook. She will be forever missed by her beloved son Sam, daughter-in-law Louise and grandchildren Zach and Naomi. Much loved sister of Ruth and predeceased by her sister Frances and Sam’s father Des. She will be sadly missed by her niece and nephew Leah and Luke, Leah’s son Daragh and her close treasured friends who she spoke of often.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Monday (29th April) from 7.00pm-8.30pm. Funeral Service on Tuesday (30th April) at 11.00am in the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Sandymount followed by cremation in Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Royal Hospital Donnybrook.
