Marie Whelan
(née Sheahan)
The death has taken place of Marie Whelan (née Sheahan), Springwood, Mallow and formerly of Whitechurch, who passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 23rd 2024 at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, Cork, beloved mother of Cathriona and Patrick, dear sister of Joe and the late Liam and Noreen (Howell).
Sadly missed by her loving family Cathriona and Patrick, brother Joe, son-in-law Eidhne, daughter-in-law Vicki, adored grandchildren Auden, Breffni, Jamie and Patrick and their grandfather Pat, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of neighbours and friends.
May She Rest In Peace.
Lying in repose at O'Connell's Funeral Home, St. James' Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61) on Thursday (July 25th) from 5.30pm with Prayers at 7pm.
Reception into St. Mary's Church, Mallow on Friday (July 26th) for Requiem Mass at 2pm which may be viewed on
Funeral afterwards to St. Gobnait's Cemetery, Mallow.
