Martha Collins
(née McCarthy)
On the December 31st 2022, after a short illness, peacefully at her home in the loving care of her family, MARTHA, dearly beloved wife of Michael, adored mother of Mary Ellen, Michéal, Noreen (O’Sullivan), TJ and Martha, daughter of the late Timothy and Nora McCarthy (Ballyourane), dear sister of Thaddeus and the late John Joe. Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, son-in-law Sam and daughter-in-law Fiona, treasured grandchildren Gavin, Sophie, Sam, Danny, Tadgh, Connor and Katelyn, brother-in-law John, nephews, nieces, relatives, a large circle of friends and kind neighbours.
May she rest in peace.

Reposing in Coakley’s Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Monday January 2nd from 6pm to 8pm with prayers at 8pm. Funeral cortege will leave her residence at 10.30am approx. Tuesday January 3rd, for Requiem Mass at the Church of Mary Immaculate Dromore at 12 noon followed by burial at Caheragh New Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society.
