Martin Hession

The death has occurred of Martin Hession, Cloondahara, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Raheens, Mouthbellew, Co. Galway - 21st August 2023, peacefully after a short illness at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar. Predeceased by his wife Rita, brothers Johnny, Tommy and Mick, and sister Mary. Martin will be sadly missed by his sons Liam and Gerry, daughter Mary, adored grandchildren Ellie, Jack, Ryan, Anna, Eve, Sophie and Sarah, daughters-in-law Regina and Laura, son-in-law Carl, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Gaynor’s Funeral Home, Castlerea from 5pm - 7pm on Wednesday with removal at 7.15pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea. Mass of the Resurrection at 11am on Thursday morning followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
