The death has occurred of
Martina Meaney
(née Fitzmaurice)
Meaney (Ballindangan & Buttevant) on July 12th, 2021, peacefully, at Cork University Hospital, MARTINA (nee Fitzmaurice), Flemingstown, Ballindangan and formerly of Ballyvorisheen, Buttevant. Beloved wife of John and much loved mother of Sinéad, Rachel, John Jnr. and the late James and Baby Thomas. Sadly missed by her loving family, brother Bertie, sisters Elizabeth (Burke) and Siobhan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephew, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May she rest in peace.
In an effort to follow best practices and guidelines regarding COVID-19, Martina’s funeral will take place privately. We thank you for your understanding at this difficult time. Please use the “Condolences” section below to leave a personal message or send a condolence card by the traditional manner.
Martina’s Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday (15th July) at 12 noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballindangan. Burial afterwards in St. Dominic’s Cemetery, Glanworth.
