Mary Ann O'Sullivan

On December 29th, 2024, MARY ANN (formerly of Kells, Co. Kerry), passed peacefully away at St. Joseph’s Community Hospital, Castletownbere. Predeceased by her husband John, parents Michael and Debbie, brothers Michael and Maurice. Sadly missed by her loving sons Mike, John and Tim, daughters-in-law, grandchildren Sean, Conor, Brian, Kieran, Jack, Denise and Neil, sisters Teresa and Breda, brothers Vincent, John, Patrick and James, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

May she rest in peace.

The O’Sullivan family would like to acknowledge and thank all the staff at St Joseph’s Community Hospital, Castletownbere, Dr. Jeremy, Dr. Aishling, all their staff in the Glengarriff Medical Centre and Mary’s home help team for the great care and kindness shown to Mary Ann.

Reposing in Coakleys Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Monday Dec. 30th from 6pm to 8pm with prayers at 8pm. Funeral cortege will leave her son Tim’s house at 11am on Tuesday Dec. 31st to travel to St Fachtna’s Church, Adrigole for requiem Mass at 12noon (to view live stream please click here), followed by burial in Kilcaskin Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to St Joseph’s Community Hospital, Castletownbere.
