Mary Byrne (Beirne) née Carley, Legan, Kilglass, Co. Roscommon, March 24th 2024.

 

In her 94th year, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the doctors and staff at Sligo University Hospital, surrounded by her family.

 

Predeceased by her loving husband, Tom Joe and her brothers Michael, Anthony, Paddy and James.

 

Much loved mother of Rita McHugh (Mullagh), Tommy (Culleenaghmore) and Padraic (Ennis) (Clonberne) and her dear sister Nellie Mullaney (Culleenaghmore). She will be very sadly missed by her family, son-in-law Noel McHugh, daughters-in-law Ann(Nevin) and Denise(Finnegan), her grandchildren, Cathal, Ciara and Croía, her great grandchildren Noah and Rían and Ciara's partner, Keith (Banahan). Also her nieces, nephews, her sister-in-law Agnes Carley and extended members of the Byrne (Beirne) and Carley families, relatives, neighbours and many good friends.

 

May Mary Rest In Peace.

 

Reposing at McHugh's Funeral Home (F42 RK72), Strokestown, on Tuesday, March 26th from 5:30 to 7:30pm. The Funeral Cortège will leave Mary's residence on Wednesday morning to arrive at Sacred Heart Church, Kilglass for 11:30am mass. Burial afterwards in Kilglass new Cemetery.
