Mary Comerford
(née Phelan)

Formerly of Ballyragget, Kilkenny,

Mary completed her life’s journey on October, 15 2024.

Predeceased by her sons Patrick and Barry, sisters Chrissie, Teresa and Nell, brothers Paddy and Jack and very recently by her brother Richard in Ballyragget on October 10, 2024.

Deeply mourned by her husband John and children Carolyn, John, Suzanne and Paula, sister Biddy Myles (Kent), grandchildren Sarah, Sophie, Eva, Oliver, Jorishiveen, Sebastian and Quinn, sons-in-law Giorgio, Giles and Mahin, daughter-in-law Coleen, and Sarah’s partner Michael.

Mary will be forever missed by her nieces and nephews and in particular by her niece Eileen, the extended Comerford and Phelan family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91V1K8) on Sunday, October 20, from 5.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Mary on arrival at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seamus Quirke Road on Monday, October 21 at 11 a.m. Following Mass, she will be laid to rest with her sons in Rahoon cemetery, (H91XW62).
