Mary Ellen Harnett (née Hewitt) 17 St. Stephen's Park, Castleisland, Co. Kerry and late of 94 Main Street, Castleisland. Peacefully on January 8th 2022, in her 94th year, in the presence of her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Columbanus Home, Killarney. Beloved wife of the late Bill. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving family, Marie, Connie and Edmond, son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Eileen and Ann, her adored five grandchildren Shane, Barry ,Emma, Claire and Gráinne, her cherished two great-grandchildren Chloe and Olivia, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Predeceased by her brothers Martin, Connie and Mattie.

Removal from her son Edmond's residence at Ballymacadam, Castleisland on Monday morning at 10.30am arriving to Castleisland Parish Church for Requiem Mass at 11am. The Mass will be livestreamed on www.churchservices.tv/castleisland.The funeral will depart the Church at 12 noon and travel up the Main St for burial in Kilbanivane Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to St Columbanus Home, Killarney c/o Tangney's Funeral Home.
