Mary Ellen Walsh nee Mitchell, Cahercastle, Ganty, Craughwell, Co. Galway 24th Dec 2023. In her 90th year after a long illness, born with great dignity. Predeceased by her husband Paddy Joe, her brothers Martin and Pat, nephew Declan. Sadly missed by her sons Michael and P.J. daughters Mary and Pauline, daughters-in-law Rebecca and Brigid, sons-in-law Liam and Mike, grandchildren Sarah, Caoimhe, Robert, Eimear, Grace, Barry, Euan, Hazel, Lilly, Robin, Kevin and Amber, great- grandchild Ivy, brother-in-law Tomsie, sisters-in-law Kitty, Nuala and Mary, nephew, nieces, extended family, neighbours and her many friends.
May Mary Ellen's gentle soul, rest in peace.
Reposing at Cawley's Funeral Home Craughwell (H91W2V3) on Wednesday from 5 o clock until 7 o clock. Funeral cortege to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kilconieron on Thursday for Mass at 12 noon (Click HERE for Funeral Mass link) with burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery. Family flowers only by request, donations if desired to Galway Hospice. Mass on parish radio 106fm.
