Mary Fitzgerald
(née Heffernan)
Fitzgerald (Mitchelstown) On January 28th, 2021, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff at St. Patrick’s Community Hospital, Fermoy, MARY (nee Heffernan), Robert Street, Mitchelstown and formerly of Graigue, Kildorrery. Beloved mother of Margaret (Martin), Eileen (Caplice) and Winnie and loving sister of Eugene, Kathleen (Hannon) and the late Hannah (Dunne). Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law George and Tony, adored grandson Alan, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

In an effort to follow best practices and guideline regarding COVID-19, Mary’s funeral will take place privately. We thank you for your understanding at this difficult time. Please use the “Condolences” section below to leave a personal message or send a condolence card by the traditional manner. Mary’s Funeral Cortege will travel via Robert Street and Lower Cork Street on its way to the Church of Our Lady Conceived Without Sin, Mitchelstown for Requiem Mass on Saturday (30th January) at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Brigown New Cemetery, Mitchelstown. Please adhere to social distancing guidelines for those standing along the funeral route.
