Mary Gibbons
(née Scanlan)
GIBBONS - (nee Scanlan), (Castlecole, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and late of Doonaha, Co. Clare). February 24th 2019 (peacefully) in her 98th year in the tender loving care of her family, the Doctors, Nurses and staff of Roscommon University Hospital: Mary. Predeceased by her husband John, brothers Jimmy, Francie and Battie, sisters Johanna and Elizabeth (Lily). She will be very sadly missed by her heartbroken family, her children Michael (Australia), Bart (Loughglynn), Jimmy (Frenchpark), John (Athlone), Liz (Castleplunket), and Anne (Cork), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, her carers and a large circle of friends.

Granny will lie in repose in the family funeral home, Ballinagare Wednesday evening from 6 o'clock to conclude with evening prayer at 8 o'clock.
Funeral will arrive to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Ballinagare Thursday for Mass of the Resurrection at 2pm with burial afterwards in Drummin Cemetery.
