Mary (Maura) O'Riordan
(née Twomey)
O’RIORDAN (Blarney): on July 5th, 2024; peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the tender loving care of the staff at Ward 4B, Cork University Hospital. MARY (MAURA) (née Twomey), Lower Killeens. Beloved wife of the late Tim and loving mother to Catherine (Cathy), Miriam, Geraldine, Annette, Timmy, Jacinta and Josephine. Sister of the late Eileen, Timothy, Sonny & William and mother-in-law to the late Kevin. Sadly missed by her loving family, grandchildren, sisters Betty, Geraldine and Margaret, brothers John, Martin and Connie, sons-in-law Joe, Brendan, Conor and David, daughter-in-law Georgina, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Visitation at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Saturday, July 6th, from 5.00pm to 6.00pm with prayers at 5.45pm. Requiem Mass on Monday, July 8th, at 11.00am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Blarney. Funeral Afterwards to St. Senan’s Cemetery, Tower. Mary's Requiem Mass will be live streamed via the link below. Donations to Ward 4B at Cork University Hospital are welcome.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Mary’s home carers for the exceptional care given to her over the last few years.
