Sheehan (Mitchelstown and Kildorrery) On May 9th, 2021, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the matron and staff of Corpus Christi Nursing Home, Mitchelstown, MARY (Maureen) (nee Hannon), Ballyshonack, Kildorrery. Beloved mother of Carrie (Crowley), Geraldine, Noel, John and the late Helen and Martin and dear grandmother of Stephen Connolly. Sadly missed by her loving family, son-in-law Joe, daughter-in-law Joan, Geraldine’s partner Michael, sister Eileen, sister-in-law Mary, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her fellow residents, relatives and friends.

In an effort to follow best practices and guidelines regarding COVID-19, Maureen’s funeral will take place privately. We thank you for your understanding at this difficult time. Please use the “Condolences” section on below to leave a personal message or send a condolence card by the traditional manner. Maureen’s funeral cortege will travel from Ballyshonack via the Mallow road and Main Street, on its way to St. Bartholemew’s Church, Kildorrery for Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Wednesday (12th May) followed by private cremation in The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Cork.
