The death has occurred of
Mary (May) Lyons
Lyons (Wolfe Tone Street and late of Churchfield, Cork), on January 20th 2024; Mary (May), peacefully, in the tender care of the staff of St. Bridgit’s Ward, Mercy University Hospital, in her 84th year. Eldest daughter of the late William and Hannah (née Holt), beloved sister to Thomas (Dom), Helen and the late Leonard. Adored aunt to Gary, Danielle, Arline, Brian and Bill. Sadly missed by her sister, brother, brother-in-law Ted, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, god-daughters Moira and Noreen, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Visitation at O' Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge, on Tuesday, January 23rd, from 4.00pm to 5.00pm. Requiem Mass in The North Cathedral on Wednesday, January 24th, at 10.00am, which will be live-streamed on www.corkcathedral.ie. Funeral afterwards to St. Oliver’s Cemetery.
