Mary died peacefully, at home surrounded by her loving family in her 94th year on 9 February, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Peter, dear mother to Annette, Michael, Paul, Rosaleen and Yvonne, loving grandmother to Harry and sister to Bridie.

Predeceased by her husband Peter, grandson Sam, sister Nora (Nonie) and brother Bartholomew (Batty).

Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her sons, daughters, sons-in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family, dear friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, (H91V1K8) on Tuesday, 13 February from 5.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. Removal at 7 p.m. to the Church of the Resurrection, Ballinfoyle, Headford Road, Galway (H91 W298). Requiem Mass in honour of Mary’s life will be celebrated on Wednesday, 14 February at 1 pm. and following Mass she will be laid to rest beside Peter in Carrowbrowne Cemetery.

May her kind and generous soul rest in eternal peace.
