The death has occurred of
Mary McCarthy
McCarthy, Cloughland, Bere Island, Co.Cork on the 7th August 2023 peacefully in the presence of her loving family, MARY. Deeply mourned by her brother Raphael, sisters Margaret, Kathleen and Eily, brothers in law, sister in law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by her parents Mary and Michael and her brother John.
Reposing in Harringtons Funeral Home, Castletownbere on Tuesday (8th) from 4.30-6.30pm followed by removal to her home in Bere Island. Murphy’s ferry will be leaving the pontoon at 7pm. Requiem Mass will take place at 11am on Wednesday (9th) in St.Michael’s Church, Bere Island followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral cortège will leave Mary’s home at approximately 10.30am. Murphy’s ferry will be leaving the pontoon at 10am and 10.30am on Wednesday morning to Traguala.
