Mary Nallen
(née Carty)

Mary Nallen nee Carty N.T. of West End, Banagher, Co. Offaly and formerly Portumna, died peacefully on 19th December 2023 (in the loving care of the staff at Our Lady of Fatima Home, Tralee), beloved wife of the late Jim, dear mother of Mark & Shane, mother-in-law of Sylvia, grandmother of Ben & Sam and much loved aunt of Helena, Conor, Eoin & Dermot and grand aunt of Cian, Saoirse, Mac Dara, Jane & Ethan.

Sadly missed by her loving family, her nieces-in-law Fiona, Mandy & Brenda, dear friends in Banagher- Majella, Maura & Nancy and in Tralee - Shirley, generations of students in Boula, her relatives and many friends.

Reposing at Dignity Funeralcare Funeral Home, (on the grounds of Portumna Retirement Village H53AY18), St. Brendan’s Road, Portumna, Co. Galway on Wednesday from 7 pm to 8.30 pm. Requiem Mass for Mary will be celebrated at 11 am on Thursday in St. Rynagh’s Church, Banagher, Co. Offaly (streamed on https://www.churchservices.tv/banagher). Interment afterwards in St. Rynagh’s Burial Ground, Banagher.
