Mary O'Mahony

On July 27th, 2024, unexpectedly but peacefully at Cork University Hospital. MARY, (retired business manager at C.U.H.), beloved daughter of the late Seamus and Joan (née McCarthy, (Adrigole), dear sister of Kathleen Sussek (Boston) and Joan Iacono (New York). Sadly missed by her loving sisters, brothers-in-law Edward and Richard, nephew Justin Sussek and his wife Rayna, nieces Hannah, Hillary, Maeve Sussek and Julia Iacono and her fiancé Karl Malate, grandnephew Seamus, her many cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Coakleys Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Wednesday July 31st from 6pm to 7.30pm with vigil prayers at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass at St Finbarr’s Church, Bantry on Thursday August 1st at 12noon (to view live stream please click here) followed by private cremation. Family flowers only.
