Mary O'Shaughnessy
(née Cullen)
O’Shaughnessy (nee Cullen) “Varamore” Rinn, Oranmore, Co. Galway and formerly of Deerpark, Oranmore and Ballinastaig, Kilcolgan. March 30th, 2016, peacefully at her home in the loving care of her family, after a long illness bravely borne with dignity and courage. Deeply devoted wife to John, loving mother to Edel (Lalor), Liam, Declan, Helen (Holohan), Regina and Sinead. She will be sadly missed by all her family.
Mary, Predeceased by her honorary sister Nancy Martyn and deeply regretted by her sons-in-law Fintan and Seamus, daughters-in-law, Garo and Eilis, her twelve cherished grandchildren Daire, Adam, Eimhin, Killian, Laoise, Emma, James, Matthew, Isabel, Holly, Nathan and Elise, her brother Gerry (Perth W.A), her honory brothers John and Tommy Martin, sisters-in-law, Dolores and Frances, nephews and niece, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her Home “Varamore, Rinn, Oranmore this Friday evening from 3pm until 8pm. Funeral after Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore to Oranmore Cemetery. House private on Saturday morning. Donations, if desired, to The Galway Hospice Foundation.
