The death has occurred of
Mary Scanlon
(née McDonagh)
Formerly Derrartha Beg, Carraroe. Mary died, peacefully, at University Hospital Galway, with her loving family at her side. Beloved wife of the late Patrick and much loved mother of Brian and Sarah. Mourned and sadly missed by her son and daughter, brother Thomás, sister Bríd, son-in-law Frank, Brian's partner Mary, her adored grandchildren Keith, Evan, Alex, Tara and Patrick, the extended Scanlon and McDonagh family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her daughter Sarah's home (Rahard, Athenry H65XT32) on Sunday 26 February, 2023 from 4.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. Removal on Monday 27 February to St. Brigid's Church, Ballybane, to arrive for Requiem Mass at 11.00 a.m. after which she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband in Clynagh Cemetery, Carraroe.
